This 13th Century print depicts an Île-de-France Cathedral to be constructed of ivory, delicately carved with roof of tortoise shell and doors of pink coral. All finials and like ornaments of gold. The windows of plique-à-jour enamel, all on a base of polished lapis lazuli with a gold diaper. The rose window of mother of pearl with jade, or pink coral mullions.
